Hofmann's is at the forefront of classic and vintage motor car restoration.  Our fully equipped workshop is manned by trained mechanics capable of carrying out full or partial restoration to the engine, gearbox, transmission, brakes, suspension, steering and electrical systems all this work is carried out to the highest standards. When we carry out a restoration the first thing we do is to establish with the client his exact requirements whether he wants to restore his car to concours condition or to compete in long distance rallies such as the Tour de Alps, we then can advise on what is required to fulfill those requirements. We have over the years built up a network of the best companies in the world for specialist works e.g. plating, wood repairing and polishing, and the best coach builders who can carry out anything from body modifications to complete new bodies. Any work we contract out to these companies we closely oversee to guarantee the work is carried out to our high standards. We have prepared all manner of pre and post war cars for our clients from all over the world, including cars that have achieved the most grueling of rallies such as the 14000 mile Peking to Paris rally.
